Explore the Neighborhood: Gardens for Charlestown

Did you know Charlestown has its very own community garden located right at the end of Main Street? What once started as a rubble-strewn lot has turned into 65 unique garden plots cared for by residents of Charlestown! The garden’s mission is to support the quality of life in our neighborhood, engage members of our community, and educate both children and adults. If you want to learn more or join the waitlist for your very own plot, head over to gardensforcharlestown.org for more information! 🌸 Check it out this week!

Plus on Saturday, a special Discovery Day will take place from 10am-1pm. This family-friendly event includes crafting, planting, storytime, meet the beekeeper, and the first 100 people will receive a Honey Babes custom cookie!

The weather this weekend looks like it may be the nicest of the year… so make sure you get outside! Before we know it, we’ll be zipping up winter coats and lacing up our snow boots (if it ever snows again?). • Prima – their Garlic Bread is one of the best apps in Boston
  • Blackmoor – craft beer lovers, the outdoor patio is your Charlestown Beer Garden
  • Monument – the pepperoni pizza with a side salad at Monument may just be my death-row meal
