Did you know Charlestown has its very own community garden located right at the end of Main Street? What once started as a rubble-strewn lot has turned into 65 unique garden plots cared for by residents of Charlestown! The garden’s mission is to support the quality of life in our neighborhood, engage members of our community, and educate both children and adults.
This community space was established in 1978 to provide a place to garden for residents of Charlestown. Gardens for Charlestown is a thriving non-profit that is maintained through the volunteer efforts and financial support of its members and the community at large.
If you want to learn more or join the waitlist for your very own plot, head over to gardensforcharlestown.org for more information! 🌸
