Looking for a fun activity around Charlestown? Check out the boat shuttle service that connects you from Pier 6 in Charlestown to East Boston’s waterfront and the Seaport. Boston Launch Company runs their boat shuttle service daily from 11 am until 11 pm, making stops at Pier 6, ReelHouse East Boston, The Tall Ship, and ReelHouse Oyster Bar in the Seaport. The service costs $4 a ticket but is free during Sumner Tunnel closures. It is such a fun, easy, and convenient way to get around the city!
For an ideal sunny day in Charlestown, we recommend grabbing some delicious drinks outside at Pier 6 (their Mudslides are a must-try!) before taking the boat over to East Boston. You’ll get a beautiful view of the city from the boat, and it doesn’t stop there! Have a seat outside at Best of Boston winner Mida and enjoy some delicious food and a fantastic view of the Boston skyline. Mida is just a quick walk from The Tall Ship, which always has something fun going on, like live entertainment or special events!
Plus, there’s no need to worry about ordering a ride service. When you’re ready to head back home, the boat will pick you up at the designated stops and bring you right back to Pier 6!
Definitely check this out if you are looking for an easy adventure from Charlestown!
