The Boston Planning and Development Agency approved the plans submitted by Redgate and its development partner, the owner of New England Casket Co., for a new project at 1141 Bennington Street.
This new development will have six stories and 220 units. Four years ago, the New England Casket Co. was destroyed due to a nine-alarm fire.
Also approved is a 41-unit condo complex near the Maverick MBTA station at 9 McKay Place.
Lots of changes coming to the neighborhood!
