Linoleum Block Printing Class

Saturday, July 13th at 10am | The Reflex Letterpress linoleum carving workshop is a 2 1/2 hour class that covers the basics of carving linoleum blocks, running them on the press, troubleshooting problems, and making changes. The bonus of printing in a letterpress studio is that wood-mounted linoleum blocks are almost the exact height needed to print on a letterpress, with only small adjustments needed for proper inking, printing pressure and paper positioning. 2024 Nautical Maker Series at the USS Constitution Museum

Take a tour of Chattermark Distillers

Take a tour of Chattermark Distillers, Charlestown’s 100% “Made from Scratch” distillery. Tours of the distillery production area feature in-depth teachings about the history of our company, the distilling process, our equipment, raw materials, barrel selection, and aging, what defines particular categories of whiskey, and how we make our unique spirits. The tour concludes in the tasting room, and each guest will receive 2 complimentary spirit samples of their choice. Tours cost $15/per person, with a running time of 30 – 45 minutes.  This experience is only for those 21+, valid identification is required.
