Looking for a fun activity around Charlestown? Check out the boat shuttle service that connects you from Pier 6 in Charlestown to East Boston’s waterfront and the Seaport. Boston Launch Company runs their boat shuttle service daily from 11 am until 11 pm, making stops at Pier 6, ReelHouse East BostonThe Tall Ship, and ReelHouse Oyster Bar in the Seaport. The service costs $4 a ticket but is free during Sumner Tunnel closures. It is such a fun, easy, and convenient way to get around the city!  Get all the fun details here!

Outdoor Fitness at The Anchor

Weigh Better U Fitness Studio is back for The Anchor’s Waterfront Wellness Series. Enjoy a total body workout on Friday at 6pm. Workouts incorporate equipment such as dumbbells, steppers, kettle bells and weighted slam balls provided by Weigh Better U. The energy is enhanced with fun upbeat music and beautiful views of the harbor from Boston’s historic Navy Yard.

Free Arts + Crafts for Kids at Peter Looney Park

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual ParkARTS program is pleased to announce the return of free Arts & Crafts Workshops for children. From West Roxbury to East Boston, kids ages three to ten can enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts activities led by local artists at the workshops held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This week, this fun and free event takes place at Peter Looney Park Park on Friday August 16th.

Sunday Funday: Sunsets in Mykonos at Pier 6

After a two year renovation, the Clougherty pool is now open! The outdoor lap pool and family pool are now open for the summer 2024 season, and the bathhouse and roof terrace will be completed for summer 2025. The Clougherty was originally built in the 1940s, and the new upgrades modernize the facility and make it more accessible. The total project budget is a $35.5 million investment.
