As my nana used to say, it’s nice to be nice! Today is World Kindness Day, so why not do a good deed by performing a simple act of kindness in the neighborhood? Check out our list of suggestions below:
Thank a first responder/frontline worker
Make a donation to your favorite local charity or organization
Buy a stranger a cup of coffee from a local coffee shop
Shop local
Order takeout or have dinner at a neighborhood restaurant
Offer to pick up groceries for a senior on your block
Leave an extra big tip
Write a note of kindness and leave it on someone’s windshield
Check-in on a new mom
Purchase/Support our local artists
Surprise someone with flowers or candy
Book a workout at a local gym/fitness studio
What are your ideas for acts of kindness in the neighborhood? Let us know in the comments below!
