The Charlestown Preservation Society is once again set to host its highly anticipated 2024 House Tour in the neighborhood. This unique event offers locals and visitors an exclusive opportunity to explore the architectural gems of one of Boston’s oldest neighborhoods. The biennial, self-guided tour celebrates a long tradition of preservation in Charlestown. From its first tour over 40 years ago, homeowners have generously opened their homes and buildings on Saturday, September 21st. Get all the details here!

The City of Boston Planning Department will be holding a virtual community meeting on September 17 at 6:00 pm regarding Chain Forge (Building 105) in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The purpose of the meeting is to gather ideas for rehabilitation of the building. Chain Forge, also known as Building 105, is an approximately 58,800 sf historic building in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The Planning Department invites the community to envision the future of this iconic landmark together.
