The City of Boston will host a public meeting on Thursday, August 8th, to discuss a proposed cannabis shop, Charlestown Cannabis, at 31 Cambridge Street. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 545 Medford Street. There will be an opportunity to raise comments, questions, and concerns. You can learn more here!
Free Arts + Crafts for Kids at Peter Looney Park
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual ParkARTS program is pleased to announce the return of free Arts & Crafts Workshops for children. From West Roxbury to East Boston, kids ages three to ten can enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts activities led by local artists at the workshops held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This week, this fun and free event takes place at Peter Looney Park Park on Friday, August 9 & 16.

Take a Class at MyStryde
MyStryde’s Charlestown studio offer the signature power stryde, and stryde classes. These classes are for all fitness levels, and include treadmill intervals and strength with dumbbells, benches, and resistance bands. They also offer open gym with a 1500 sq ft. tread room features 19 treadmills and 19 benches! Get the details here!
