Last month, the City of Boston announced it would be installing more BlueBike stations in various neighborhoods around the city, including this one!
The City’s goal is to make our public bike share more reliable and convenient with the hope of adding more stations in every neighborhood across the city by spring 2025.
In the current public engagement phase, the City is focusing on Charlestown, East Boston, South Boston, and South Boston Waterfront.
You are encouraged to attend an open house or share comments on potential sites via online surveys.
The City found 13 potential locations for 5-7 new Bluebikes stations in Charlestown See the locations below:

2) Medford St at Short St
3) Rutherford Ave at Essex St
4) Main St at Dunstable St
5) Main St at Salem St
6) Main St at Phipps St
7) Main St at Devens St
8.1) Constitution Rd at Chelsea St
8.2) Chelsea St at Constitution Rd
9) Monument St at O’Reilly Way
10) Medford St at McNulty Ct
11) Chelsea St at Medford St
12) Flagship Way Ave at Navy Yard
