It’s Pride Month in Boston and here’s a running list of events and promotions happening in and around the neighborhood!

Pride Flag Raising at City Hall

Join Mayor Michelle Wu, the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement (MOLA), and community partners for a vibrant Pride Kickoff and Flag Raising Ceremony to celebrate the start of Pride Month in Boston! Takes place on Monday, June 1st at 12pm.

Boston Pride for the People

Boston Pride For The People is excited to announce Pride Month celebration in Boston on Saturday, June 6th! The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, parade, festival, and block party! Boston Pride For The People is a volunteer-led organization that plans activities and events that celebrate the rich diversity, culture, and intersectionality of the LGBTQ+ community. Blend Events

Blend is hosting several events in June to celebrate Pride month including Pop Star Drag Brunch, Pride Kickoff and more! You can check out the roundup here. 

Pride at dbar

Pride Celebrations at dbar! dbar will be celebrating Pride all month long with special events from Showtune Tuesdays to special tea dances.  Follow them on Instagram for the latest.

Pride Cocktails to Try

The Block at Woods Hill – Patio Crusher

The Block at Woods Hill is featuring the Patio Crusher made with a refreshing mix of Supergay Vodka, watermelon shrub, fresh basil and soda. A portion of proceeds will benefit BAGLY and its work serving LGBTQ+ youth across the state.

Nautilus Pier 4 – Ube Be Baby 

The Ube Be Baby at Nautilus Pier 4 is made with vodka, ube, coconut, lemon and cinnamon for a tropical-leaning sip with a subtle sweetness and striking purple hue. $2 from every cocktail sold benefiting BAGLY.

Maple & Ash – Cherry on Top 

During the month of June, the newly opened Maple & Ash in the Seaport will feature a cocktail with a cause for Pride MonthCherry on Top with Tito’s, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, vermouth, strawberry, citrus, a whisper of Moscato, and a cabernet float. With each cocktail purchased, Maple & Ash will donate $2 to Pride in Our Workplace whose mission is to provide the LGBTQ+ community with ways to amplify their voices and create thriving workplace cultures.

Monument – Rainbow Pride Flight 

Monument is now serving a Pride cocktail flight for two all throughout June, with a portion of the proceeds going to @thenetworklared 🌈 Cheers!  You can check it out here! 

Pride Box at Hamersley’s Pantry 

Hamersley’s Pantry is featuring a special Pride Treat Box on Saturday, June 6th, loud, proud and really delicious!

Pride Ice Cream Sandwich at Waverly

🌈 Rainbow Waverly cookie sandwiches and rainbow dot cake cold brew are live at Waverly Kitchen and Bar, with a portion of the proceeds going to @thenetworklared through the month of June!!

Pride Night at Fenway

The Red Sox annual Pride Night at Fenway Park will be hosted on Tuesday, June 16th. Ticket holders who purchase through this special offer will receive an exclusive Red Sox hat in Pride colors. Arrive early for a Pride Party on the Sam Deck! Get the details here.

Pride BlueBikes

In celebration of Pride Month, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”), the title sponsor of Bluebikes, is bringing back its fleet of rainbow-wrapped “Proud Bikes” to support LGBTQIA+ health care across Greater Boston. A total of 100 Pride-themed bikes will be available throughout the Bluebikes system for the month of June.

  • How it works: The Pride-themed bikes, including 50 classic bikes and 50 ebikes—will be available across the Bluebikes system from June 1–30.
  • For every ride taken on a “Proud Bike” from June 1 – 30, Blue Cross will donate $1 to Fenway Health, a longtime partner and leading provider of affirming health care and services for the LGBTQIA+ community, up to $10,000.
  • Once that threshold is met, Bluebikes operator Lyft will match the initiative with an additional $1 per “Proud Bike” ride, up to $10,000.
