Annual Harvest Fair

Saturday, November 16th | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church

The Harvest Fair returns this Saturday to St. John’s Episcopal Church, at 27 Devens Street! Books, crafts, jewelry and more, with Turkey Dinner 12-2 p.m.

This year the dinner is pay-as-you-can with a $20 suggested donation. 10% of proceeds go to Harvest on Vine, with the rest supporting the ministry of St. John’s. Thank you all for your support!

Turkey Shuffle, ZUMBA

Sunday, November 17th | 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at YMCA Charlestown

Register for the Turkey Shuffle Donation Drive, a 75 minute ZUMBA class put on by the YMCA! You can expect a day full of giving, dancing, and being thankful. Bring in food items for the Charlestown Community Fridge. Each item donated = 1 raffle ticket for gift baskets, Zumba wear, and other local prizes! Members can register on Motionvibe.

Friendsgiving Parents Night Out by the YMCA

Sunday, November 17th | 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at YMCA Charlestown

Enjoy another parents night out by the YMCA! This Sunday, bring the kids to enjoy arts and crafts, a bouncy house, snacks, and more! Register today through your YMCA membership.

Fill the Junebug van for Harvest on Vine

Wednesday, November 20th to Saturday, November 30th | Junebug OR Place & Gather

Each year, Junebug collects non-perishable food for our local food pantry, Harvest on Vine. This year they are starting to collect food on Wednesday the 20th and will continue through Small Business Saturday! They have seen their donations lessen with people traveling for Thanksgiving, so Amanda and her family are urging you to donate early! If you donate, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your purchase to use at either Junebug or Place & Gather.

Charlestown Youth Hockey Auction Night

Friday, November 22nd | 7 p.m. at Knights of Columbus

Support CYHA by donating auction items and/or buying tickets to their Auction Night Fundraiser. Tickets are just $25!

There will be a live and silent auction that includes sports memorabilia from past and present NHL players, NE Patriots players, sports tickets, and more! Also enjoy 50/50 raffle, cash bar, music by Dennis Taylor and DJ Macca,

All proceeds benefit Frankie’s Friends of CYHA. The goal of Frankie’s Friends is to help members of CYHA who are facing financial struggles and to help the program meet its operating costs so it can continue to deliver a successful, community focused hockey program to the youth of the Charlestown neighborhood. Junebug’s Thanksgiving Centerpiece Class

Join Junebug to make your Thanksgiving centerpiece alongside their talented designers! The perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table or gift for your host! Vase, scissors, floral mechanics, and all flowers and greens will be provided. You will leave class with one of our Classic arrangements!

Bunker Hill Associates x Warren Tavern Turkey Drive

Harvest on Vine will feed 500 Charlestown families this Thanksgiving. Please consider sponsoring a Turkey Dinner for $35. Food insecurity is real and so are high food costs. This turkey drive is a partnership with the Warren Tavern born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has afforded the donation of over 1,000 turkeys to Harvest on Vine Charlestown Food Pantry since 2020.

Every dollar donated to the Bunker Hill Associates during the Drive goes toward the purchasing of frozen turkeys, and any surplus donations are passed along to Harvest on Vine. Donate here!

Fill the Fridge Challenge is Back

To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Charlestown Community Fridge, NEW Health aims to fill the fridge every day in November with the help of our neighbors and community partners. The Kennedy Center of Charlestown’s Toy Drive registration is open! Charlestown families, get ready for a season of joy!
