Charlestown — you did it again!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our neighbors and local partners, the Junebug + Harvest on Vine Cereal Drive just got a major boost – milk! And lots of it!
It started with a cereal drive organized by Junebug to help neighbors with SNAP benefits ending. Over 840 boxes of cereal were donated this past Saturday! Then, HP Hood came through in a big way with a donation of 600 half gallons of milk! Then, the Charlestown YMCA matched that community spirit with an additional 300 half-gallons, with more coming in December to help space out the distributions.
The cereal drop-off has been extended through November 7 inside Junebug during business hours, with a new goal of 1,000 boxes.
Here are the details:
Donate cereal for Harvest on Vine
Our local food pantry feeds 520 children in Charlestown each month. A top-need item right now is boxes of cereal. The Junebug Van will be parked out front, collecting donations. The goal is 1000 boxes!
Give what you can
Both @harvest_on_vine and @newhealthboston rely on community support to continue their work. If you’re able, please visit and send $20 (or any amount) to help our neighbors in need. You can donate here or here or both!
Thank you for showing up for Charlestown — together, we make this community stronger. 💚
