Attention dog owners! The City of Boston is making it super easy for you to keep your furry friends healthy and street-legal. Boston Animal Care & Control just announced the 2025 schedule for Rabies Vaccination & Dog Licensing Clinics, with multiple dates and locations across the city—so no excuses!
For just $5 per rabies shot, you can ensure your pup is up-to-date on this essential vaccine. Plus, if your dog isn’t licensed yet (tsk, tsk), you can register them on-site for $15 (spayed/neutered) or $30 (intact). Already licensed? Just bring proof, and you’re all set.
The clinics kick off in March and run through June, hitting neighborhoods like Southie, Dorchester, Hyde Park, and more. No appointment necessary—just show up with your pup on a leash (or a carrier for the little guys). Cash only, so hit the ATM before you go!
Why does this matter? It’s the law—all dogs over six months need to be licensed in Boston. Plus, a license helps your pet get home safely if they ever wander off.
Check out the full schedule here and mark your calendars! South Boston’s clinic takes place on Saturday, April 12th at BCYF Charlestown Community Center from 10am-2pm
