One month away from Bunker Hill Pride Week!

Charlestown’s commemoration of 250 years since Bunker Hill Day will be underway in just one month. There will be a full week of events leading up to Bunker Hill Day and the parade, including this year’s first Charlestown Calling, an epic block party/festival that will take place between the Bunker Hill Monument and the Training Field, running down Winthrop Street. Crate Escape & Suite Escape’s pups and people open house is this Friday

You’re invited! This Friday, May 16th from 5 to 8 p.m., Join Crate Escape Charlestown for their Suite Escape Open House—a special event for pups and their people! Sip on beverages, nibble on small bites, snag some paw-some dog giveaways, and get an inside look at where the magic happens. You will also be able to meet their trainers. Whether you’re planning your pup’s next sleepover or just curious about our space, we can’t wait to meet you! Crate Escape is located in the Navy Yard at  200 Terminal St, Charlestown. Go wag, sip, and stay a while!

Celebrate Boston Harbor Islands opening weekend with a FREE trip to Spectacle Island! Explore Spectacle Island’s beaches and winding trails. Catch the ferry to Spectacle right from Downtown Boston’s Long Wharf North… for free! Tickets are first come, first served, and can be picked up at the Boston Harbor City Cruises Ferry Center at Long Wharf North  beginning at 8:00am. No advance reservations. National Bike to Work Day is this Friday

Join a neighborhood-based group ride, or Head to City Hall between 7 and 9 a.m. on Friday, May 16th. Enjoy some breakfast snacks and coffee. Stop by tents and tables to learn about local businesses and organizations that support our cycling community in the Boston region. Get more information here!
