You can enter a photo contest for Charlestown’s Bridge of Joy

Take a closer look at the grand prize for the Bridge of Joy Photo Contest – it’s pretty cool! A 12 inch blue painted bronze octopus by @gillieandmarcart If you’ve photographed the Bridge of Joy sculptures across the Navy Yard anytime since their arrival in August 2025, those photos count. New photos are welcome too. Deadline is February 17, 2026!

Project 351, an impactful nonprofit, opens its new headquarters at Hood Park

Another additional to Hood Park is here! This time, it’s an impactful nonprofit dedicated to youth-led service and leadership. Founded on the belief that every young person holds the power to lead with courage, compassion, and purpose, Project 351 has grown over the past 15 years into a statewide movement that unites eighth-grade Ambassadors from each of Massachusetts’ 351 cities and towns in a five-year Leadership Continuum for skill development, civic engagement, career-readiness, and transformative social impact.

Project 351’s new 2,400-square-foot office marks an exciting new chapter for the non-profit, providing an expanded headquarters with dedicated space for community meetings, workshops, and convening. Read more, here!
