New England Clambake at Monument is Back!
Make your reservation, and get ready to feast! Next Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day), Monument is hosting its New England Clambake again! Starting at 5pm you can enjoy this summer’s Main(e) event.
Boston’s 10th Annual Illuminate the Harbor Fireworks Celebration
This Thursday at 8:30pm, enjoy a firework spectacular over the harbor to kick off your long weekend and end-of-summer celebrations. Head down to the Navy Yard for a view of the show! We suggest checking out Pier 6 or The Anchor if you want to celebrate with others!
MYSTRYDE Charlestown Run Club
On Thursdays at 6:15am, you can join the MYSTRYDE Charlestown Run Club for a 3-mile loop around the neighborhood. There are pacers for 8, 9, 10 and 11 min miles, making it a good option for runners of many speeds!

Early Voting for State Primaries
The Boston Election Department is reminding voters that the State Primaries will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The State Primaries determine the candidates who will represent each political party in the State Election on November 5. For more information, please read our full article. Below are locations and times for early voting ahead of next week:
Early Voting @ City Hall: In-person early voting begins Saturday, August 24 and runs through Friday, August 30. City Hall is Boston’s primary early voting site, with voting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Voters are encouraged to enter City Hall through the Hanover Street entrance to access the early voting location on the second floor, Haymarket Room.
Early Voting @ Harvard/Kent School: Saturday, August 24th from 11AM-7PM and Sunday August 25th from 11AM-7PM.
Ballot Drop Box at the Charlestown Brand Library: Have a mail-in ballot? This Drop Box is available 7 days a week until 8PM on Election Day.
