Weekend Picks – September 25th

Stay Safe in the Storm
Close all your windows, charge your devices, take down outdoor decorations (or anything that can blow away), stock up on food, don’t drive, and stay inside! If you see downed power lines or trees, report to 311. A Nor’easter is heading our way!
Get Crafty at the Charlestown Library
The Charlestown Branch of the Boston Public Library is hosting Crafturday for Adults on Saturday, September 26 at 11am. Stop by and paint your very own mini garden gnome to take home. The event is free, but registration is required.
Get a Workout in at Flight House
Kick off the weekend with a workout at Flight House Fitness on Medford Street. The new Charlestown fitness destination offers everything from HYBRID and LIFT classes to Pilates, yoga, open gym, and recovery services — plenty of ways to get moving before the weekend officially begins.

Check out Ruthie’s Juice Mini Main Street!
The cutest kid’s play space has arrived in Charlestown, and it’s right inside the kids’ cafe at Ruthie’s Juice! Stroll down to relax with your favorite juice, smoothie, or bowl while the kids play in the space designed to look like a mini Main Street, featuring a Monument and Junebug storefront, plus a theater stage!

Weekend plans can be as simple as wood-fired pizza and a cold beer. Brewer’s Fork is open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday and a perfect place to weather the storm.
Take a class at MyStryde
