But then in 1933, owner Frank Santarpio began selling pizza and the rest is history! This local neighborhood pizza parlor became a landmark destination for locals and visitors alike! Some even consider the pizza from Santarpio’s some of the best in Boston and even the country! Order up a pizza and celebrate! Last Call for Thompson Island and George’s Island for Public Access
On Saturday or Sunday, take a ferry over to Thompson Island and explore the beach and conservation area. The ferry leaves at 9 am and returns to the mainland at 1pm. Round trip is 10$.
