Go Green on Black Friday
The DCR is encouraging families to “Go Green on Black Friday” with free, guided hikes at four agency parks across Massachusetts on Friday, November 24. DCR staff will lead family-friendly hikes over trails that range between two and three miles. The agency also offers self-guided hikes at several state parks for visitors to enjoy.
3rd Annual Ship Lighting at Martin’s Park
Join the Friends of Martin’s Park and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday, November 25, from 4 to 6pm in the Seaport District and Fort Point neighborhoods. The wooden playship is the centerpiece of the space and will be transformed into a beautiful holiday display with 5,000 feet of white and blue LED lights.
