9/11 Remembrance at Mass Fallen Heroes Memorial

Join Mass Fall Heroes for a Vigil in honor of 9/11 at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial in the Seaport located at 85 Northern Ave, Boston, MA at 6:00pm on Monday, September 11th. There will be lighting of candles to honor all of our brave servicemen and women who gave their lives during the horrific events of 9/11, as well as those who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation in the following conflicts. Here are more ways to honor and remember 9/11. 

East Boston Tomorrow – BPDA Meeting – Plan East Boston

The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) recently released a draft of East Boston Tomorrow, the full draft report of the PLAN: East Boston. This 88-page document is the result of years of community input, meetings, and feedback. The report includes proposed changes to East Boston’s zoning article and new capital improvements to public space, including near- and long-term improvements to the neighborhood’s transportation network, plus housing, climate resilience and more.  You can find a link to the draft of the report here.  On Tuesday, September 12th, there will be a community meeting to discuss the new draft. The event will include a high-level summary of the report and information about early implementation actions, including draft changes to East Boston’s zoning, Article 53. This event will initiate a 30-day comment period for the report and proposed zoning amendments. Translated materials and interpretation will be available in Spanish.
