Workouts to Try in the New Year
It’s 2024. Shake up your workout routine and try something new! Check out our roundup here!
Recycling Christmas Trees
Recycle those dried-out Christmas trees this week! The City of Boston will be collecting them for the first two full weeks in January! Place trees at the curb by 6am on trash day. No decorations, bags, stands or lights on the tree. The tree will be shredded up to be used as compost. The compost will be distributed in various Boston parks to help new things grow! You can learn more here!
Detox + Reset
Too much celebrating over the holidays. Take a heated infrared sauna at AXL! Create a weekly ritual that incorporates an intentional “reset” using our top-of-the-line sauna rooms and NormaTec Compression therapy available in studio. Infrared sauna is one of the most pleasurable and effective ways to support your immunity, deepen sleep and boost skin and hemodynamic health. NormaTec Compression Therapy decreases inflammation and muscle tension to help you bounce back faster. It helps reduce your recovery time and increase your flexibility/range of motion. BPDA Squares + Streets Zoning Virtual Meeting
Please join staff from the BPDA’s Zoning Reform team at its virtual office hours! This will be a space to drop in and talk with our staff about questions and thoughts you have on the Squares + Streets draft zoning text amendment and proposed Squares + Streets zoning districts. There will be recurring afternoon and evening sessions to accommodate differing schedules. There are no formal presentations or planned agenda items during these office hours, so we ask that you review the information and materials available on the Squares + Streets Zoning Districts page and come prepared with any thoughts, comments, or questions that you’d like to bring to our attention! This virtual meeting takes place on Thursday, January 4th at 6:00pm. You can learn how to participate here.
