Plan East Boston Neighborhood Meeting
Please join the BPDA for public meetings on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 (Spanish-Language) and Thursday, December 7, 2023, to discuss updates to the draft of PLAN: East Boston and amended zoning language for the neighborhood.
These meetings will review revisions to the PLAN’s key recommendations as well as proposed zoning for East Boston’s Neighborhood Residential, Waterfront, and Mixed-Use areas. These meetings will be held in-person at Mario Umana Academy (312 Border St, Boston, MA 02128 – Auditorium 146), from 6:00-8:00 PM, on their respective dates. Simultaneous interpretation into English (12/06) and Spanish (12/07) will be provided. These are public meetings: all are welcome to join, comment, and discuss the proposed plan and zoning changes. Eastie Holiday Bazaar will take place on Saturday, December 9th from 1pm-6pm at the ICA Watershed located at 256 Marginal Street, featuring local vendors and photos with Santa.
3rd Annual Luminaria
Join The Trustees Boston Waterfront Initiative (thetrustees.org/onewaterfront) for the 3rd Annual Luminaria while we enjoy a stroll down the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway in East Boston, listen to festive holiday music, and keep warm with some delicious hot chocolate. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy. We will meet at the Blue Caboose to start our walk and move as a group as we sing along to festive music. Celebrate on Saturday at 4:30pm!
