Concert in City Square Park

Enjoy a free outdoor concert on Wednesday, August 14th at City Square Park from 5:30pm-7pm featuring East Coast Soul!  Prima will be there selling pizza by the slice in addition to gelato, compliments of realtor Caroline Noonan Gould! Bring a chair or blanket to sit on! Rain date is Thursday, August 16th.

Free Arts + Crafts for Kids at Peter Looney Park

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual ParkARTS program is pleased to announce the return of free Arts & Crafts Workshops for children. From West Roxbury to East Boston, kids ages three to ten can enjoy a wide variety of arts and crafts activities led by local artists at the workshops held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This week, this fun and free event takes place at Peter Looney Park Park on Friday August 16th.

Visit the Farmers Market

The Charlestown Farmers Market returns for the 2024 season on Wednesdays from 2pm-6pm through October.  Shoppers will find fresh, seasonal ingredients and products from local vendors offering produce, meat, seafood, bread, prepared food, cheese, honey, and more. The farmers market is located at Thompson Square. Corner of Main & Austin Street next to the Hubway Bike stand.

Sweat it out at Hot Box by the Handle Bar

Hot Box offers two signature classes: Sculpt and Flow. Hot Box’s Sculpt classes are set to revolutionize traditional strength training by infusing it with the power of infrared heat. These high-energy sessions combine breath-to-movement vinyasa with sweat-inducing pilates-inspired exercises.
