Last chance: apply for a Summer Activation Mini-Grant

This week is your last chance to apply for a Summer Activation Mini-grant through the City of Boston.

Each year, the Mayor’s Office of Community Safety builds and implements the Summer Safety Plan. They’re focused on ensuring all Bostonians, especially youth, have access to necessary summer resources, events, and programs. This year, they’ve redeveloped their approach by prioritizing community input during the development of the plan, and delivering resources to the community before summer begins.

With $100,000 available, the city is calling on community based organizations, tenant task forces and neighborhood associations to submit ideas on how to activate parks, housing developments and streets in marginalized micro-communities. Applications are only open until April 24th, you can read more about how to apply here!

Last chance: Recycling Event at Hood Park

Time to recycle those old electronics, batteries, cables, metal, and more! Hood Park is hosting a recycling event from March 25th through April 25th. You can drop your items in one of three lobbies: 100 Hood Park Lobby, South Lobby of 500 Rutherford, or North Lobby of 500 Rutherford.
