At 10:43 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025 officers assigned to District 15 (Charlestown) responded to a marina in Charlestown to investigate an incident on a houseboat. On arrival, officers located Joseph Donohue, 65, of Charlestown non-viable.
Boston Police arrested Nora Nelson, 24, of Boston, at the scene on unrelated warrants. Today, Thursday, February 6, 2025, Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Homicide Unit obtained an arrest warrant from the Charlestown District Court charging Nora Nelson with the murder of Joseph Donohue.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
