State Police Investigating Reported Assault in Paul Revere Park in Charlestown

State Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that took place Wednesday morning in Paul Revere Park in Charlestown.
According to officials, the incident was reported around 9:50 a.m. in the riverside park, which stretches along the Charles River near the Bill Russell Bridge, connecting Charlestown and the North End.
The alleged victim has spoken with police and shared a description of the suspect, prompting an ongoing investigation. State Police say they’re actively working to gather more details and increase patrols in the area.
