Monument Square Landmark District Meeting and Boundary Walk

In July of 2022, the Boston Office of Historic Preservation received a petition to establish a new Landmark District in Charlestown. The Monument Square Study Committee, composed of Charlestown community members and Boston Landmarks Commissioners, was formed to explore the proposed district’s boundaries and preservation guidelines.
The Monument Square Landmark District Study Committee will meet on October 29th, 2025, at the Bunker Hill Museum located at 43 Monument Square, Boston, MA 02129.
