The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) recently released a draft of East Boston Tomorrow, the full draft report of the PLAN: East Boston. This 88-page document is the result of years of community input, meetings, and feedback.
The report includes proposed changes to East Boston’s zoning article and new capital improvements to public space, including near- and long-term improvements to the neighborhood’s transportation network, plus housing, climate resilience and more. You can find a link to the draft of the report here.
The BPDA is excited to announce the release of draft zoning amendments to implement PLAN: East Boston. A public comment period on draft amendments will be open until October 27, 2023. Revised text amendments may then go to the BPDA Board on November 16, 2023 and then the Boston Zoning Commission. Questions and comments can be submitted via email to [email protected].
