Love was in the air on Thursday night at Piers Park in Eastie when one neighborhood couple got engaged. According to the Boston Globe, Enrique Penato popped the question to Itzhel Zemely Cano in a very romantic scene – four-foot illuminated letters that spelled out “MARRY ME,” red rose petals, candles, and the gorgeous backdrop of Boston Harbor and the city skyline. The beautiful setup was created by local event planner J’Adore Picnics Boston
The couple has been dating for seven years.
By the way, she said yes! You can read the full details with more photos here!
