East Boston Man Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges – Recovered Fentanyl and Cocaine

At about 11:08 AM, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District A-7 (East Boston) and District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested Robert Ciampi, 63, of East Boston, on drug trafficking charges.
Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 54 Orleans Street. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered approximately 242 grams of Fentanyl, 65 grams of Cocaine, 13 grams of Crack Cocaine, 15 pounds of Marijuana, Hallucinogenic Mushrooms, and approximately $8,000 in U.S. Currency.
Ciampi was placed under arrest and charged with: Trafficking class A, trafficking of class B, possession with intent to distribute class B, possession with intent to distribute class D, possession with intent to distribute class D. He is expected to be arraigned in East Boston District Court.
