Death Investigation at 140 Main Street in Charlestown

At about 10:33 PM, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, officers assigned to District A-15 (Charlestown) responded to 140 Main Street, Charlestown on a report of a pedestrian struck at that location. On arrival, officers located an adult male lying on the ground on the parking lot located at 140 Main Street. Further investigation revealed the victim had been shot and Boston EMS pronounced the victim on scene.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
