Charlestown Starbucks Workers Vote to Unionize – Unanimously

Big news brewing in Thompson Square—a few weeks ago, every single employee at the Charlestown Starbucks has voted yes to unionize, making it the 20th Starbucks in Massachusetts to do so.
The unanimous vote marks a major milestone for the growing Starbucks Workers United movement across the state. Workers at the Charlestown location cited a desire for better communication, fair scheduling, and a stronger voice on the job as key reasons for organizing.
Whether you grab a cold brew every morning or just swing by occasionally for a chai and a snack, chances are you’ve chatted with the friendly, hard-working staff who work there!
Way to go!
