For the first time in Charlestown Little League history, a 12U All-Star team is heading to Cooperstown, New York, to compete in a prestigious tournament at the All-Star Village. According to the Charlestown Bridge, the team will travel on Friday, June 6, 2025, with games scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, and championship games on June 11.
To support their journey, the team is organizing several fundraisers. A Hit-a-Thon will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 6 PM at the Charlestown High School Fields, where supporters can sponsor players per foot or with a flat donation. Additionally, a Poker Night Fundraiser is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus on Medford Street, with a $150 buy-in. Tickets for a $200 scratch ticket basket raffle, priced at $10, are also available, with the drawing on June 1.
This milestone reflects the dedication of the players, coaches, and the Charlestown community. Best of luck to the team as they represent Charlestown on this exciting journey!
