Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Stops by Charlestown High — Surprise Visit Brings Big Smiles and Sneaker Love

Early this week, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown made an unannounced stop at Charlestown High School, turning an ordinary school day into something unforgettable for students and staff alike.
According to WCVB, Brown rolled into the school gym and played a little hoop around with students. He brought along streamer and rapper DDG for some friendly two-on-two basketball.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. In a special moment that showcased his gratitude to educators, Brown gifted Charlestown High staff member Nicole Mattson a brand-new pair of sneakers — a small token of appreciation for the essential work teachers and staff do every day right here in our neighborhood.
