Flight House Fitness opens this spring, and it will be more than just another place to work out

Flight House Fitness is getting ready to open a massive new gym in Charlestown this spring—and it’s aiming to be more than just another place to work out.
Located at 465 Medford Street along the Mystic River, the 50,000-square-foot space is designed to bring everything fitness-related into one spot. Members will have access to a traditional open gym, group classes that blend strength and cardio, and even private recovery suites. The idea is simple: instead of juggling multiple memberships, you can do it all in one place.
They will be hosting a Launch Party on May 16th from 8am to 12pm. It will feature their signature HYBRID workout followed by tours and socializing. During this time, everyone can enjoy a DJ on site, product sampling, and curated brand experiences from partners like lululemon, Ruthie’s Juice, Waverly, Athletic Brewing Co, nutre, Apex Vitality, and more! RSVP here!
You can also sign up for a tour online, or head over for a weekend open house (Saturdays 9am-1pm or Sundays 10am-12pm). Follow along on their Instagram for more information!
This will be the second location for Flight House Fitness and its first in Massachusetts. The company, which started in Rye, New Hampshire, is expanding as more people look for flexible, personalized workout spaces that don’t feel crowded or one-size-fits-all.
The building itself has quite a transformation story. It used to be a corporate call center in a property owned by Flatley Company, but it’s been completely reimagined by Ivory & Bone Interiors. Now, it features open layouts, upscale finishes, and views of the water, along with dedicated areas for training, recovery, and locker rooms.
If you’re interested, memberships are already on sale. Prices start at $119 per month for basic access and go up to $289 for an all-inclusive option. The gym is expected to host its grand opening on June 1st.
With its size, location, and all-in-one approach, it looks like this new spot could quickly become a go-to fitness destination in Boston!
