The Shop at Dovetail is a great neighborhood market with so much to offer. Open daily from 11am to 7pm (and open at 10:30am on the weekends), the Shop at Dovetail is located behind the Dovetail restaurant in the Navy Yard. They offer a menu featuring a variety of delicious sandwiches, salads, and soups.
The Spicy Italian Sandwich and Chicken Cesar Salad are two personal favorites! Along with the made-to-order food, the Shop sells a wide selection of wine & beer, homemade bread, charcuterie, cheese, snacks, pasta, homemade sauce, dips, and so much more! All the ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Their homemade Muhammara is a roasted red pepper dip that is absolutely mouthwatering and available for purchase in the Shop. You also may recognize it as it is often featured as an appetizer on the menu at the Dovetail Restaurant!
The Shop at Dovetail is the perfect place to grab a bottle of wine and some ingredients to make a charcuterie board at home. Or order a sandwich and eat outside with the beautiful view of the water. You definitely want to check out this neighborhood gem!
