How Convenient

“Shuck in style,” she says. She is Alexis Cervasio, a Boston native living in Eastie with a colorful background in food, restaurants, community, local integration, entrepreneurship, oyster farming, and caviar caveat, to name a few.  She founded EBO + Co. Grocery back in 2021 after successfully operating East Boston Oyster, a wildly popular special events business centered around caviar and oysters back in 2014.

Cervasio told Eater Boston in 2021, “Our entire mission is to make things like oysters and caviar more approachable, so I think it will be fun to have some old-timers in there trying caviar for maybe the first time.” 

The fun and colorful market, located at 110 Meridian, features everything from essentials like milk, eggs, bread and wine to fancier and unique items like caviar, oysters, plants, flowers, and even vinyl records.  It’s worth the trip, and Alexis is delightful.

EBO + Co. Grocery is open every day 9am – 8pm.

As for East Boston Oysters, this is straight from the EBO site:

“We bring oyster farmers, highly creative chefs, cocktail magicians, wine geeks, passionate brewers, artists & hospitality badasses into East Boston (and beyond) to create a unique dining experience. We pop up on boats, in restaurants, on rooftops, raw spaces, closed venues…nothing is off limits. We carry in, make magic and carry out. All events are in a secret location.”

Once you are on the email list, you will receive popup alerts for upcoming events.  After you pay your way, EBO will reveal the location and other delicious details just 24 hours prior. Events usually sell out in a few hours.
