Big news, Charlestown! What was once Zumies on Main Street has undergone a sweet transformation. La Saison Bakery, the wildly popular bakery known for its delectable treats, opened its doors right here in our neighborhood with a soft opening. A grand opening celebration will take place on Sunday, December 15th.
La Saison has already earned a devoted following with its original location in Cambridge, and now Charlestown residents can get a taste of its magic closer to home. The menu is brimming with irresistible goodies that are sure to satisfy any craving. Think buttery croissants, golden scones, rich brownies, and a variety of cookies and cakes. And it doesn’t stop there — La Saison also serves freshly baked loaves of bread and savory sandwiches, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or an indulgent snack.
Behind all these culinary delights is pastry chef extraordinaire and La Saison’s owner, Chef Aysha Bilgrami. Trained at some of the world’s most prestigious culinary institutions, Chef Aysha brings her passion for baking to every treat she creates. Her artisanal approach combines traditional techniques with innovative flavors, ensuring that every bite is memorable. From the flaky layers of her croissants to the perfectly balanced sweetness of her cookies, Chef Aysha’s expertise is evident in every creation.
