Nestled away in Hood Park, Charlestown’s relatively new restaurant and retail hub, Naco Taqueria brings much-needed diversification to the food scene in the neighborhood. You may be familiar with the restaurant’s food truck as well as their Central Square (Cambridge) and Hub Hall (North Station) locations. The new Charlestown spot is the next chapter in the restaurant’s journey to bring quality scratch-made food and delicious drinks to the Boston food scene.

Adorned with an eye-catching, brightly colored interior, Naco Taqueria offers a vibrant, fun, and inclusive dining experience – from its array of fresh margaritas and tried and true tortas and tacos to various vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu options. There is truly something for everyone, and you can’t help but feel your spirits lift when you gaze around at the beautiful art, funky light fixtures, and overall gorgeous and contemporary atmosphere.

Located between The Handle Bar cycling studio and Urban Wild, this spot would be perfect for a post-spin class drink with friends, a casual after-work hangout, or a staple Taco Tuesday spot. There are bar, booth and regular seating options depending on your party, and TVs, too, in case you want to pop over to watch a game with friends.

The menu has a variety of starter and taco options, and you won’t want to miss their fresh chips and guacamole, street corn off the cob, and Al Pastor taco. Not only are their margaritas fresh, but their house-infused tequila espresso martini is a new fan favorite (paired with the dulce de leche churros, of course!)

Tacos and tequila within walking distance? Count us in.
