Veterans Day Pick: Visit the USS Constitution Museum

Pay a visit to the USS Constitution Museum to honor those who have served our country. The museum serves as the memory and educational voice of USS Constitution by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the stories of “Old Ironsides” and those associated with her. “We seek to engage all ages in the story of Constitution to spark excitement about maritime culture, naval service, and the American experience. We will share “Old Ironsides”’ contributions with a global audience, and we will strive to be the best museum possible based on scholarship and innovative ways of sharing Constitution‘s stories.”

This weekend, they will be honoring each veteran visitor, offering special veterans-only tours of the Ship, inviting military families to visit with free admission, providing maker activities, and hosting a write-a-thon to collect letters of gratitude for the veteran community. Spend some time giving back to the community this weekend! NEW Health’s #FilltheFridge is back! To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Charlestown Community Fridge, NEW Health aims to fill the fridge every day in November with the help of our neighbors and community partners. The trend will continue every day with a new organization or community member getting tagged! You can also sign up.
