Live Music on Saturday at BPL Charlestown Brand to Benefit Rosie’s Place
There will be no shushing in the library this Saturday, May 31! Four bands are coming together at the Charlestown Branch to play music with a purpose: to collect book donations to benefit Rosie’s Place, the country’s first women’s shelter, located in the South End. So bring your new and like-new book donations and enjoy the show! Be sure to follow @bplcharlestown on Instagram for events and updates!

Town scavenger hunt to fund the Bunker Hill Day Parade!
This Saturday, May 31st, search, explore, and discover Charlestown by completing a scavenger hunt! The hunt is being hosted by the Chief Marshal for the Bunker Hill Day Parade, Jamie Chambers, and all proceeds will benefit parade day efforts. It starts at 10 a.m. at the Training Field, and costs $20 per person, or $75 for a team of 4. Get ready to find and answer questions around Charlestown for a chance to win awesome prices! Charlestown’s first Drag Brunch at Urban Wild to benefit the Bunker Hill Day Parade!
History is being made this weekend – Charlestown’s first ever Drag Brunch will take place at Urban Wild this Sunday, June 1st. The event starts at 12 p.m. and is $40 a ticket. Your ticket includes 1 drink voucher and all proceeds benefit #BabyBoyle4Mayor for the Bunker Hill Day Parade! Just Venmo Sean @seanboyle324 with the note Drag Brunch!
