Saturday, June 8th 11am-2pm | Take part in Massachusetts Kids Boating and Fishing Week this Saturday at Charlestown Marina with Touch-a-Boat, boating safety education, refreshments, giveaways, and more.
Read with Therapy Dogs Rosie and Penny
Saturday, June 8th 10-11am | Therapy dogs Penny and Rosie, with Charlestown Dogs and the Pets and People Foundation, will be at the Charlestown Library on Saturday. Come in to read, play, and snuggle with these two loving pups! No registration required.
CMA’s Touch-a-Truck!
Sunday, June 9th 10am-1pm | Bring your truck-loving little ones to the Schrafft’s Center parking lot for the Charlestown Mothers Association’s 14th annual Touch-A-Truck! This is a fun, free community event that features over 25 vehicles for kids to touch, climb on, and learn about. There will also be a free ice cream truck, food trucks, a trackless train, and more. Non-perishable food items are being collected for St. Marys St. Catherine in Charlestown.
Bunker Hill Flag Raising
Sunday, June 9th at 11am | Kick off Charlestown’s Bunker Hill Week at the Bunker Hill Monument on Sunday. There will be a speaking program, activities, and coffee/treats with the Bunker Hill Parade Chief Marshall, Stephen Fabiano, and USS Constitution’s Commander Farrell. This event is sponsored by Bunker Hill Associates and National Park Service.
