Have a great weekend, Ctown!

Landry’s Bicycles is hosting a Block Party at Hood Park on Saturday

Join Landry’s Bicycles and Hood Park at a Community Block Party!

The neighborhood gathering is this Saturday, July 18th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hood Park. This isn’t a typical bike shop event—it’s a celebration of our community. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or someone who hasn’t ridden in years, Landry’s invites you to connect with neighbors and enjoy a fun, low-stakes day in the heart of Charlestown.

They are coordinating neighborhood “Guide Rides” from surrounding communities—real routes that locals actually use—so you can arrive at the party feeling confident and ready to celebrate. The event will feature food trucks like Bon Me and the Cookie Monstah, ice cream, local community organizations, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for meeting fellow residents.

Come for the ride, stay for the party.

  • Due to capacity limits to enhance visitor safety, visitors must register for a swim time slot through our registration system. Registration will go live 24 hours before the following day’s sessions and will remain open until all spots are taken or until the session begins, whichever comes first.
  • Sessions will be time-limited and visitors are asked to register for and attend one session per day. If visitors register for more than one session per day, we reserve the right to cancel their registration if there is a waitlist of individuals looking to attend.
  • Visitors are asked to arrive not more than 10 minutes before the start of their session.
  • Capacity guidelines limit the number of visitors per session.
  • Preference will be given to Boston residents.
