Calling all ghosts, ghouls, and goblins (and fairies, firefighters, and farmers), Halloween in the Gardens is on October 26th from 10:30am to 1pm!! Enjoy games by Knucklebones, arts and crafts, balloon twisters, face painting, and pony rides. Just $10 for children to enter, and $20 for entry, pony ride, face painting, a hot dog + a drink! Advance tickets can be purchased on Gardens for Charlestown’s website.

There’s a Howl-o-ween Pup Pageant at The Anchor

Save the date for a spook-tacular fashion show on October 26th! Join Crate Escape and Charlestown Veterinary Hospital for the Howl-o-ween Pup Pageant at The Anchor from 12 to 3 p.m.

Dress your pup in their cutest, creepiest, or funniest costume for a chance to win prizes, enjoy pup cups, and have a fang-tastic time. Bring your boos, your ghouls, and most importantly… your pups!

Don’t miss the Restore & Receive Workshop at Asana

Restore and Receive is an evening put together by Asana to support your nervous system and return you to a state of balance. Molly Morgan & Emily Snell will bring you through a grounding flow with restorative poses and Reiki support. Gentle touch, somatic awareness, and guided rest for deep healing. Expect to Rrelease stress, restore balance, and welcome the shift inward.

Reiki is a traditional Japanese healing practice where Emily will incorporate physical touch, intuitive movement, and aromatherapy to encourage emotional, mental, and physical healing while you are in supported restorative shapes.

This offering will bring you release and equanimity as we transition from week ~ weekend, summer ~ fall, outward ~ inward.  Join them for an evening of surrender to serenity, release for rejuvenation, and end your week with an energetic cleansing! Reserve your spot!!

Get your tickets for Halloween Music Bingo to benefit Bunker Hill Associates

Tickets for Bunker Hill Associates‘ highly-anticipated Halloween Music Bingo event go on sale Monday, October 6th! The event will take place at Urban Wild on Friday, October 24th. Bunker Hill Associates was established in 1985 and is a community nonprofit from Charlestown, MA raising funds for youth programming and civic engagement. Stay tuned on their Instagram and website for a link to purchase tickets.

You can attend CNC’s meeting about the Pier 5 potential transformation

Please join the Charlestown Neighborhood Council meeting Tuesday, 10/7, at 7 PM at the Knights of Columbus (545 Medford Street, Charlestown) to talk about Courageous Sailing’s Pier 5 Proposal. We’ll be sharing how our proposal (link in bio) will transform a fenced-off, crumbling pier into a vibrant, inclusive, and accessible waterfront space for all of Charlestown, with expanded programs for kids, families, and neighbors.

We’re incredibly grateful that so many of you have been voicing your support in letters and in person. Unfortunately, a small but vocal group continues to spread misinformation and organize opposition to the proposal. We would love to have our Charlestown friends and neighbors join us as we present, and welcome your support in setting the record straight.
