Tuesday is Election Day

Though Josh Kraft dropping from the mayoral race in September has cleared the field for Mayor Michele Wu’s second term, the City Councilor At-Large race will decide which four of the eight candidates will represent the city for the next two years. The election will take place on Tuesday, November 4, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Your nearest polling location and voter registration status can be located here.

Caught In Charlestown compiled a short list of questions based on key issues this election cycle. Candidates were asked how they would:

• Deal with the rising costs of housing in an already expensive state
• Respond to ongoing conversations about bike lanes and broader transportation concerns
• Influence solutions at Mass & Cass
• Keep residents safe amidst ongoing antagonism with the Trump administration

Fall Fun Day is on Saturday at Hood Park

Get ready for Fall Fun Day and Touch-A-Truck at Hood Park!

On Saturday, November 8th from 11:30am – 3pm head to Hood Park for a fun, fall-filled day of trucks, games, crafts, and activities for the whole family! There will be a police cruiser, ambulance, and fire truck to explore. Admission is FREE! Hood Park is accessible via Sullivan Square Station and offers racks for Bikes and Blue Bikes, along with FREE 3-Hour Parking at the Hood Park Garage.
