Charlestown Library hosts Reptiles! An animal encounter with Mass Audubon

Game On: PickleBOS Announces New Charlestown Location

As pickleball continues to surge across the country, PickleBOS, Boston’s premier pickleball facility, is expanding with a second location in Charlestown, slated to open in Spring 2026.

To celebrate the expansion, PickleBOS is inviting players to be part of the club from the beginning with a limited Founding Membership available to the first 100 members only. The membership provides benefits that can be used across both PickleBOS locations, giving players early access to the growing pickleball community in Boston. Check out all the details, here!

Spring Egg Hunt Date Announced: Saturday, April 4th

Save the date for the annual Charlestown Mother’s Association Spring Egg Hunt! The hunt will begin at 10am SHARP on Saturday, April 4th at the Monument. Please arrive before 10am so you can find your age group, while staying off the grass until it is time to begin so that a fair and orderly egg hunt can take place. See you there!

Love Your Block is back on Saturday, May 2nd

Save the date for this year’s neighborhood cleanup in Charlestown: Saturday, May 2nd. It’s a great opportunity to join your neighbors and help care for your community! Registration is open now to host a clean-up site in the neighborhood.

A bit about Love Your Block: Each spring, Bostonians from every neighborhood come together to demonstrate their community pride and commitment. Participating in Love Your Block is a meaningful way to connect with neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and see the tangible impact of collective action. It’s a rewarding experience that strengthens communities while helping keep Boston beautiful. In 2025 alone, we welcomed more than 3,100 volunteers who helped clean and beautify over 150 sites across the city.
