Labor Day Weekend fireworks are happening this Thursday!
Boston’s end-of-summer tradition is back. On Thursday, August 28 at dusk (approximately 8:30pm), the skies over Boston Harbor will once again sparkle with the return of the Illuminate the Harbor fireworks display. Presented by Boston Harbor Now in partnership with Meet Boston, this annual celebration marks the start of Labor Day Weekend and offers locals and visitors alike one last chance to soak in the magic of summer on the waterfront.
We suggest heading to Pier 6 for an awesome view of the fireworks accompanied by fabulous food, drinks, and vibes. Read more about it, here!
It’s the Clougherty Pool’s last week open
Summer’s last splash is coming – BCYF’s outdoor pools, such as the Clougherty Pool, are closing for the season after this week. They’ll be open Tuesday, August 26, through Labor Day. Labor Day hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Get Back in the Game at the Y
Were you a basketball player while growing up and miss the game? Ready to hit the court again? Whether you’re looking to get some shots up, sharpen your skills, or just burn calories in a fun and engaging way, the Charlestown Y invites you to register for their new adult basketball small group training. Acoustic summer nights continue at The Anchor
Summer nights, live music, and waterfront vibes! Join The Anchor EVERY TUESDAY until September 30th, from 6–8 PM, for their Acoustic Nights Concert Series. Grab a drink, bring your crew, and enjoy local talent under the Boston sky.
Discovery Day coming to Gardens for Charlestown
Join Gardens for Charlestown on September 7th for Discovery Day! They are partnering with local yoga/barre studio Asana, the Charlestown Y, e inc Boston, and The Old Farmer’s Almanac for this educational and family-friendly event. There will be an opportunity to explore the gardens and go on a guided discovery trail, seed planting, crafting, reading, a chance to meet their beekeeper, and the first 100 explorers receive a Honey Babes custom cookie!!
