The Concert in the City Square Park series is back this week! On Wednesday, East Coast Soul will perform from 5:30 to 7pm at City Square Park. The rain date is Thursday, but skies are looking clear.

Place & Gather‘s Bunker Hill Flag KNIT HAT is now available for pre-order! They will be made by Sandy_Knits, also known as Leslie, who lived in Charlestown for almost 20 years and now resides on the North Shore. These hats are unisex, 100% wool (so soft), and feature a removable pom pom. There are adult and a super limited number for infant and toddler.

The hats will be available to pick up around Thanksgiving, and Place & Gather will let you know when they are ready. They can also be shipped!

There’s another Heat Emergency this week

Even though it may be time to order hats for this winter, we are not out of the summer heat yet. Mayor Michelle Wu has declared another heat emergency for Monday through Wednesday this week. The threshold for a heat emergency in the City of Boston is two or more days with a heat index of 95 degrees.
