There is a lot of new development talk happening in Charlestown, and the community is often invited to participate in the discussions and planning meetings. Here are two upcoming meetings you can attend:
Monument Square Landmark District: Community Engagement Event
This Saturday, April 15th from 6 to 8pm, you can join in the conversation at the Bunker Hill Monument Museum. You’ll learn about the proposed preservation district and can provide your own feedback. What will it mean for the neighborhood? What are the proposed boundaries? And more!
Rutherford Avenue Redesign: Public Meeting #3
On Wednesday, May 6th from 6-8pm, you can head to the Warren Prescott School for the city’s third and final community meeting for the Rutherford Ave/Sullivan Square Design Project before they submit the 25% design to MassDOT. At this meeting, the project team will explain the procedure for making design decisions, share the proposed design, and review the project timeline and next steps.
